On the 7th November 2018, EMVO published the PA for the Operational Phase. As communicated together with the release of the new PA, EMVO ended all processes related to the PA for the Implementation Phase and its respective hardcopies of the previously mentioned Agreement. Please find the purpose of the new PA below.

The Participation Agreement for the Implementation Phase established the contractual framework for the participation of the OBPs in the ramp-up period for the limited scale and preliminary operational mode of certain part(s) of the EMVS during which the parties developed, tested and implemented their systems and that automatically terminated on the 8th February 2019, at 23:59:59 CET.

The Participation Agreement for the Operational Phase establishes the rights and obligations of the parties during the full scale (day-to-day) operational mode of the EMVS, which started on the 9th February 2019, at 00:00 CET and during which both parties operate their, connected to each other, respective systems.

As a consequence, EMVO requires all of it's OBPs to sign the PA for the Operational Phase. EMVO will no longer approve nor countersign PAs for the Implementation Phase. This holds true no matter which Step of the On-boarding Process you are currently in.
