"Centrally Authorised" does not give EMVO consistent information. The type of authorisation (e.g. centrally authorised), does not automatically give an information about the countries of operation. A MAH with a centrally approved MA/Product/s has the possibility to market the product in all granted markets, however an actual marketing of that product in all granted markets might not be the case. Ergo, (a) centrally authorised product(s), does not automatically mean an operation of that MAH in all target markets for that product/those products, hence the detailed information of county of operations per MAH is necessary (“MAH active in”).
The country of operations is defined as the target country/market, for which the Marketing Authorisation Holder of a product/of products, holds a license for and markets a product/ products actively, hence the MAH/OBP uploads data/SNs for the product(s) into the referring NMVS(‘) of that target market/country of operations.
