You can modify or update Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH) information on the OBP Portal using two methods: a manual update or an import via CSV file.

Option 1: Manual update

Use this option to edit or delete individual MAHs directly in the portal.

Steps

  1. Go to Provide informationMAH & Product information

  2. In the MAH list:

    • Click the pen icon to edit an MAH

    • Click the bin icon to delete an MAH

  3. Update the relevant MAH details

  4. Click Save to apply the changes

Important note

Manual updates are not available if mandatory fields are missing for other MAHs listed on your OBP Portal.

If manual editing is blocked, please use the Import CSV file method described below.

Option 2: Import CSV file

Use this option to update multiple MAHs at once or when manual editing is unavailable.

Steps

  1. Go to Provide informationMAH & Product information

  2. Click Export to download the current MAH list as a CSV file

  3. Open the CSV file and make the required changes

    • To delete an MAH, remove the entire line from the file

  4. Once the file is updated, return to the portal and click Import

CSV file requirements and tips

  • Use a semicolon ( ; ) as the separator
(If the separator is not visible in Excel, open the file using a text editor such as Notepad)

  • Maximum 500 characters per cell

  • Follow the correct format for:

    • Website

    • Phone number

    • Email address

  • Enter country names in English

  • For ease of use, only one country should be provided in the “MAH active in” field

Keeping MAH information accurate and up to date helps ensure compliance and avoids onboarding or data upload issues.
