EAMS - What's the difference between "Pack Located In" and "Alert Raised In" ? and why does it show "inactive" next to the ISO code ?

In the AMS Portal, users can review market-related information from the Alert Details page.

There are two market fields:

  • Pack Located In: Indicates the market where the pack is physically located according to the alert data.

  • Alert Raised In: Indicates the market that generated the alert.

In some situations, these values may be different.

For example, a pack may be physically located in a Belgian pharmacy. When the pharmacist scans the pack, the Belgian national system may not recognize it. As the product is configured as a multi-market product, the EU Hub forwards the request to Spain. If the Spanish system confirms that the pack exists in its repository, Spain raises the alert.

In this scenario:

  • The alert ID would start with ES-, as the alert was raised by Spain.

  • Pack Located In would be BE, as the pack was physically located in Belgium.

  • Alert Raised In would be ES, as Spain generated the alert.

Additionally, when "Inactive" is displayed next to an ISO country code, it means that the corresponding country is not connected to the AMS Hub. As a result, AMS Hub communication and collaboration features are not available for that market. The user therefore knows that he needs to contact the relevant NMVO to proceed with the investigation of that/those alert(s).
