EAMS - Difference between admin and non-admin accounts in the AMS Portal

J
Written by Jalal Samir

The AMS Portal provides different user roles with different levels of access and permissions.

Admin accounts have an organisation-wide view. This means that administrators can see all alerts belonging to their organization, regardless of individual user or team assignments. They also have access to additional organization-level management and configuration functionalities, such as managing users and teams, managing tags, and configuring certain automation functionalities.

Non-admin accounts are primarily intended for the day-to-day investigation and handling of alerts. Their access may be limited according to their role and team assignment, and they do not have access to certain administrative or configuration functionalities. For example, they may use existing tags where permitted but cannot manage the organization's tags, and certain automation functionalities are restricted to administrators.

In short, an Admin has an organization-wide view and broader management rights within the AMS Portal, while non-admin users have a more restricted view and permissions based on their role and team assignment.
