In accordance with the DR, serial numbers “should be generated according to specific randomisation rules".

We recommend that you read the SDK for OBPs document. For further details this is available in Step 4.1 of the OBP Portal - Technical Info Pack - section 8.2.5 Notes on Random Serial Numbers.

The trigger warning that you may receive regarding insufficient randomisation is an indicative test done by the Hub. It indicates that your serial number (s) are not compliant according to our interpretation which will present them from being uploaded to the Hub.
